Five years ago, during the closing ceremony of the CANIMAF Festival, the Cameroonian audience got an exclusive first look at the teaser for the animation project Mboa Matanda, led by Jules EYAONGO. Welcomed with palpable excitement, this teaser marked the beginning of an exciting adventure for this ambitious project, a symbol of the burgeoning animation industry in Cameroon.
After more than four years of hard work, challenges overcome, and festivals attended around the world, Mboa Matanda has finally come to life, much to the delight of viewers and the emerging Cameroonian film industry. This production, praised for its originality and artistic quality, represents a significant milestone for animation in Cameroon.
Today, Abyl Studio is proud to announce a new chapter in the journey of Mboa Matanda. In a recent post on their Facebook page, the studio stated:

In addition to the dozen broadcasts that have already taken place on TV5MONDE, you can now watch and rewatch Mboa Matanda on the TV5MONDE Plus streaming platform."
Abyl Studio also expresses its gratitude to all the institutions that believed in this project and supported its realization:

- The European Union
- The Organization of African, Caribbean, and Pacific States
- The French Institute of Cameroon
