A new partnership to boost animation in Cameroon has been announced. The promoter of CANIMAF and the Cinéma Uni Association have come together to offer a project development award during the 4th edition of CANIMAF.
The African Animation Film Festival of Cameroon (CANIMAF) is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with the Cinéma Uni Association Jules Kalla Eyango. This collaboration aims to encourage and support emerging animation talents in Cameroon, providing an exceptional opportunity for a creator to advance in the realization of their animation projects.
This award includes support in writing, character design, and storyboarding. This substantial aid is intended to support the development of an animation project selected by a jury of professionals during the pitch competition to be held at CANIMAF 2024. Only projects in the idea phase and initial sketches will be accepted and evaluated by the jury.
