Dear animation enthusiasts and professionals in Cameroon,
As part of the 4th edition of the Douala African Animation Film Festival (CANIMAF), we are launching a call for contributions for those who wish to share their expertise and experiences with our community.
We invite animators, directors, producers, studios, trainers, researchers, and all animation professionals to submit proposals for leading conferences, workshops, masterclasses, studio focuses, and other activities.

CANIMAF is a unique platform dedicated to promoting and celebrating African animation. By contributing, you will have the opportunity to:

Types of contributions sought
We are looking for proposals for the following activities:
- Conferences: presentations on specific topics related to animation.
- Workshops: interactive and practical sessions on techniques or creation processes.
- Masterclasses: practical training sessions allowing participants to develop new skills.
- Studio focus: detailed presentations of the work and processes of animation studios.
- Panel discussions and debates: interactive exchanges on current themes in the animation industry.
- Other activities: any other proposals that could enrich the festival experience.
How to submit your proposal

- Full name
- City of residence
- Title of your presentation/workshop
- Type of activity proposed (conference, workshop, etc.)
- Title and summary of the proposal (max 500 words)
- Biography (max 150 words)
- Required materials (if applicable)
- Contact information (email and phone number)
Submission deadline
The deadline for submitting your proposal is August 16, 2024.
Selection of proposals
All proposals will be reviewed by our programming committee. Selected contributors will be contacted no later than August 30, 2024.
