The African Animation Film Festival of Douala (CANIMAF) is delighted to announce the official opening of the call for films for its fourth edition, which will take place from October 17 to 19, 2024, at the French Institute of Douala. This prestigious event, which has become an unmissable rendezvous for animation enthusiasts and professionals, offers an exceptional platform for animators and producers from across the African continent and beyond.

 

We invite all animators and producers to submit their works for this new edition. Whether you are an independent creator, an animation studio, or an animation student, your participation is welcome. The official categories of the festival include:

- Animated Short Films

- Animated Feature Films

- Animated Advertisements and Music Videos

 

Submission Conditions

Eligible animated films must have been completed between 2020 and 2024. There are no restrictions on format, origin, or technique used. Registration is free and must be done online via the following link: Submit a Film
