CANIMAF 2026 Creative Residency Call

Objective of the Residency: The CANIMAF Creative Residency aims to support Cameroonian artists and creators in developing their animation film projects by offering a conducive environment for creation. Participants will benefit from personalized support, access to technical and artistic resources, and increased visibility for their projects.

Participation Requirements: The residency is open to all Cameroonian artists and creators interested in animation cinema. Selected candidates will receive a residency grant and access to a well-equipped workspace. They will also be mentored by professionals throughout the residency.

Schedule and Selection Process: Applications for the CANIMAF Creative Residency will open on July 1, 2025. Projects will be evaluated by a selection committee comprising professionals from the animation and comic book industries. Results will be announced at October, and the residency will start in November.
