Master class on the production of cinema animation Cameroon
The African Festival of Cinema Animation succeeded without doubt in meeting the expectations of the confirmed professionals and many curious people, who came in their numbers to attend the Master class hosted by Mr. MEKINDA Roger, producer, and Mr. MBALLA MBALLA Timothee, lecturer at the Institute of Training and Conservation of Audiovisual Patrimony of Yaoundé, Cameroon.
A briefing on the state of the areas of production of cinema animation in Cameroon and a presentation of some production methods were some of the points raised during the Master class. The exchanges with very interested and listening participants equally enables the two panelists, among others, to edify the audience on finance research mechanisms, the notion of rights and contracts in audiovisual production.
Mr. MBALLA MBALLA did not leave out the problems linked with the management of production teams. He pointed out that the obsessional individualism of artists, creators and technicians, was among others one of the true ills that still continue plaguing the production sector of film animation than that of real movies.
Initially slated for one (1) hour, the Master class ran for thirty minutes more, thereby showing the interest and contribution of such an initiative for the youths who intend going into this complex and diversified field..
The rendezvous has been schedules for October 28 next year at the Institut Francais de Douala, 3 pm prompt.
