We continue our retrospective with the presentation of these speakers, guests and enthusiasts who made their mark on the 2019 edition of the CANIMAF Festival.

Our second favourite is Yvan DASSIE, director of the short film "News Africa" which was in official selection at CANIMAF 2019. It was with pleasure that he edified the many festival-goers during the inside studio on his production studio WITI ANIMATION.

CO FOUNDER of ARBC CREATIVE AGENCY, he has 11 years of experience in artistic direction and training. Yvan cumulates skills in: 3D modeling, animation, 2D graphics, video editing, special effects and sound.

He is a self-taught artist who starts from his passion and improves over the years while leaving his mark on several projects for advertising companies such as Orange Cameroon, Eneo, Banque Atlantique, Tradex Gaz, Airtel Chad, Danone, Bicec, TIGO TCHAD, MTN Cameroon, Nestlé, Source du pays, Yoomee, SABC.
 
In 2017 he directed his very first animated short film "NEW AFRICA" which is the pilot episode of a feature film. With his studio WITI ANIMATION, Yvan DASSIE's ambition is to spread 3D animation beyond the Cameroonian borders.
